Chantal Janzen has only just blown out 43 candles and the following happy news arrives: she will be a bonus grandma. Esme´e Geeratz, the daughter of her husband Marco, is pregnant.
The stepdaughter of the presenter from Tegelen shared the news via Instagram.
Composite family
Marco Geeratz (50), whom Janzen married in 2014, has three adult children from a previous relationship. The TV star has had a relationship with Geeratz since 2006, who also comes from Tegelen. The two met in her teenage years through her older brother Kenn. The couple have two sons together: James (13) and Bobby (3).
Drama Comedy Series
Janzen announced via Instagram at the end of December that there will be a series on Videoland about blended families. “For some time I had been thinking about making a dramedy, that is a drama-comedy series, about this fact: blended families. This is of course something that is very close to me because of the composition of my own family.”
Beautiful situations and struggles
In the series, according to her, funny or beautiful situations, but also the difficulties, the difficult moments and struggles that a blended family entails. “It is fantastic to be part of a beautiful big family, my family is the most important thing in my life and it is what I am most proud of,” writes de Tegelse.
‘Love you’
Janzen has not yet posted anything about her stepdaughter’s pregnancy on social media. She does respond with ‘Love you’ followed by three hearts on the Instagram message from Esmée herself. She responds in turn with ‘love you Chantilly’.
Incidentally, the arrival of Esmée’s first child also means that television producer Joop van den Ende will become a grandfather. She has a relationship with his son Vincent.
