Billionaire (92) who gave away all his money and exchanged a luxurious villa for a small rental apartment died: “Money did not appeal to me”

An American multi-billionaire who promised to give away all his money during his lifetime and actually did so, has died. Chuck Feeney (92) sold the chic villas he owned around the world and gave up his luxurious lifestyle for a modest existence in a rented apartment in San Francisco. He no longer had a car and always traveled in economy. “Just because you sit at the front of the plane doesn’t mean you get there faster,” he said.
