Billion-dollar Engie profit swept away by one-off costs

The French energy company Engie, which operates nuclear power stations in Belgium, among other things, was able to benefit from the high prices for gas and electricity last year. Nevertheless, the billion-dollar profit has been wiped out by, among other things, the provisions for the extension of the nuclear power plants in Belgium and the losses on the Gazprom Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
