The shooting of the movie “Being Mortal” is under a bad star. As announced on Friday (April 22nd), leading actor Bill Murray was on leave a week ago. He is said to have behaved “inappropriately” on the set, several US media reported unanimously.

The production company sent an email to all the film’s employees on Wednesday (April 20) and drew attention to a complaint from an employee.

It is not yet clear what the consequences of the incident will be for the shooting of the film and whether Murray will continue to participate or be replaced by another actor. According to initial information, half of the film has already been completed.

The case of Aziz Ansari

Not entirely insignificant: “Being Mortal” is above all a work by Aziz Ansari (“Master of None”), who directs, wrote the book and also plays in it. He recently had to deal with allegations of abuse and had taken a “creative break” for some time. The film was planned as his comeback.

The production company has so far refused to provide any further information about what Bill Murray is guilty of.
