Due to the construction noise from Leto’s house renovation, the “Tokio Hotel” singer is given little rest.
“I’m a little bit annoyed, mouse. My nerves are a little bit frayed. “I didn’t get a lot of sleep,” Bill Kaulitz tells his brother Tom in the current episode of their podcast “Kaulitz Hills – Mustard from Hollywood”. Due to the intensive renovation work carried out by his neighbor Jared Leto, Kaulitz has to live with noise pollution day and night.
Back in 2022, the “Tokio Hotel” frontman was upset about the 51-year-old’s property and described it as an “eyesore,” and now the neighborhood is once again causing problems. “It is an absolutely major construction site in our neighborhood. I have the feeling he’s remodeling his entire house,” says Kaulitz about the “Thirty Seconds To Mars” singer’s house renovation. The Kaulitz brothers joke that Leto has probably just received a large advance for a film or has just moved out.
Tom Kaulitz also notes that the conversion caused inconvenience due to numerous construction vehicles: “I was already stuck in a traffic jam on the way to you today.”
Bill Kaulitz is also currently planning to do some renovation work, which could make the neighborhood a little less comfortable. “But now I’m starting to remodel. I’m also doing a major remodel. Now my pool is finally here,” he says. How does this end? Kaulitz also has a theory about this: “If Jared and I renovate at the same time, then there will be no getting around here. Then LA will be paralyzed, I’ll tell you that.”
