Bill C. (52) and Sharona de J. (34) will be back in court on Friday for two murders in 2021. In Lieshout on May 2, the 70-year-old former CEO of Vlisco was beaten to death with a hammer and in June the 65-year-old Benito van Ommeren strangled. It was Bill who killed the men, but the judiciary certainly wants to prosecute Sharona for complicity.
What went wrong with these two people, you wonder when you hear their story. A man from Rosmalen, who falls in love with a much younger transsexual, loses himself in drink and drugs and starts killing. Out of jealousy and later out of panic.
It looks like a movie script, like Bonnie and Clyde or Natural Born Killers. However, this is not a script, but hard reality, as it turned out in the court in Den Bosch on January 25.
Bill sat on his talking chair during the hearing and then told the judges in detail what had happened in the spring of 2021: his great love, SM subject and prostitute Sharona, had left him when he lost his house in Rosmalen due to rent arrears. . The person she immediately moved in with was Willem van der Willigen from Lieshout, whom she already knew as a customer.
Bill was torn with grief when he drove to Lieshout a few days later, full of alcohol and drugs. He climbed over the fence, found Sharona in the kitchen and then went to the bedroom with a hammer and beat Van der Willigen to death in his sleep.
This confession and the confession that he also strangled a man in Amsterdam during their flight turned the entire process upside down. Bill had always kept quiet about the police, so his story was unexpected. So unexpected that the court decided that further investigation was necessary. Bill’s confession also had to be tested with Sharona and others involved. Due to this twist, the lawsuit will not resume until eight months later.
The entire Friday was set aside to discuss the file with Bill and Sharona and the prosecutor’s demand. The lawyers will speak on Monday.
Omroep Brabant will keep you informed all day on Friday with articles and a live blog.
