Following yesterday, FC Volendam striker Bilal Ould-Chikh was missing on the training field at FC Volendam. The 25-year-old Ould-Chikh has already been disciplinary suspended by the premier league club for the third time this season.
Ould-Chikh was not part of the match selection of FC Volendam last Saturday for the duel against sc Heerenveen (2-1). The fast attacker has been suspended again by the current number fourteen of the Eredivisie after two previous incidents. FC Volendam does not want to make any statements about the reason for Ould-Chikh’s most recent suspension.
The club does confirm that the imposed penalty has nothing to do with it has with a TikTok video, in which Ould-Chikh indicated that he would be present at a nightly football tournament in Roosendaal. This tournament took place the night before the game against sc Heerenveen.
Conversation with Jon
Yesterday, the former player of Benfica and ADO Den Haag already spoke with technical director Jasper van Leeuwen. Ould-Chikh would also talk to head coach Wim Jonk. It is not yet known when this conversation took place and what the outcome is.
FC Volendam will play a home match against PSV this Sunday. The kick-off in Volendam is at 2.30 pm.
