Fatal motorcycle accident on Thursday afternoon in Lichterfelde!
Around 4:30 p.m., a serious accident occurred at the intersection of Osdorfer Straße and Hildburghauser Straße. According to initial findings, a driver of a VW Golf wanted to turn from Hildburghauser Strasse into Osdorfer Strasse while the driver of a motorcycle was driving down Osdorfer Strasse out of town.
The biker drove into the passenger door of the car and ended up on the street. The arriving rescue workers from the fire brigade tried to resuscitate the biker. However, he was so badly injured that he succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The driver was in shock.
A specialist inspectorate for traffic offenses was on site with an expert to reconstruct the accident and is now checking who gave way to whom.
