BIG is in the final of the League of Legends tournament Prime Super Cup. The team prevailed against SK Gaming Prime in the semi-finals of the competition for the German-speaking region.
In the duel for the finals of the cross-league tournament, two of the best first division clubs from the Prime League met with BIG and SK. SK had previously eliminated Eintracht Spandau, BIG the streamer team No Need Orga (NNO).
SK was in the lead for a long time at the start, but then BIG surprisingly turned the game around. The second game clearly went to the Berliners. SK then fended off the match point, but BIG got the series in the following fourth game.
There will be a derby in the final: BIG will meet the team against second division Hertha BSC eSport. The football club’s team defeated the surprise team Kaufland Hangry Knights 3-0 in the semifinals.
“I have the feeling that this Hertha team is better than some teams from the first division,” said BIG’s Franciszek “Harpoon” Gryszkiewicz in an interview after the game about the final duel. “If we just stay calm and don’t underestimate them, we will prevail and win the series.”
