Big winner Assen Central not yet in the list of coalition parties Assen

The ten elected parties in Assen believe that the City Party PLOP, ChristenUnie and the SP belong in the new municipal council. This is apparent from the interim report of informateur Aimée van der Ham. The big winner Assen Central is not yet in that list.

“It emerges from these conversations that it is indispensable for a stable coalition that the potential board – in addition to the content – also fits well together on a human level, where trust is a key word,” the informateur writes in her report.

There have already been a number of talks between the parties to remove ‘old sore’. This is also the case between PLOP, ChristenUnie and the SP. In this they indicated that they did not see any obstacles to possible cooperation. Assen Central was also allowed to join those talks, even though that party does not have the direct preference for all ten parties.

PLOP, ChristenUnie and the SP came out the best on the question of the informateur, who was about the suitability of parties for a stable city government. The talks also show that a coalition with five parties is preferred. The informant will still have separate discussions with all political groups, and with possible combinations of parties that offer good prospects. Before the May holiday, Van der Ham will let you know how things are going.
