There have already been a number of talks between the parties to remove ‘old sore’. For example, there were sensitivities from the past between Stadspartij PLOP and the ChristenUnie. PLOP suddenly left the coalition in September 2019 out of dissatisfaction with austerity plans. That coalition was established in 2018 under the leadership of the ChristenUnie, and also consisted of GroenLinks and VVD. But in a conversation, PLOP and CU indicated that they do not see this event as an obstacle to a new possible collaboration.
