The rising lifespan and faltering economy are not without consequences: a large part of the Flemings currently barely have enough money to get through the month. In Flanders this is 41%, in Brussels (54%) and Wallonia (57%) the figure continues to rise. That is no less than 2.7 million Flemish people who are struggling financially. It’s one of the remarkable findings from our Great Poll.
