Meter-high flames at Treptow harbor!
Eyewitnesses discovered the blazing fire on the banks of the Spree around 4 a.m. on Monday night. Several snack bars and stalls caught fire over a length of more than 30 meters.
The rapid spread of the flames and the danger of stored glass bottles caused great problems for the rescuers. Nevertheless, the firefighters quickly managed to push back the flames and extinguish the fire. Also thanks to the use of a fire boat and river water.
The cause of fire is not discovered yet.
