TOthis year too Big Brotherwhich returned to the origins with a prevalence of unknown protagonists, has already raised a couple of hot topics.
As we write, two couples have formed, a month and a half after the start. The first is composed by the actress Beatrice Luzzi and the school collaborator Giuseppe Garibaldi: he is about twenty years younger than her.
The other is that of the actor Massimiliano Varrese and the debutant of Albanian origins Heidi Baci: same age difference, but with him older. It is difficult to think that the symmetry of these relationships was not studied at a table, thanks to the help of the two artists who lent themselves to the game.
But even if this were the case, and this year the edifying intent (which is always there in Alfonso Signorini’s Gf) was to clear customs couples of different ages, especially those in which the woman is older, something has gone wrong. A twist tore the web woven by the authors: Heidi’s father jumped on the show, accusing Varrese to put pressure on her and declaring that they want to preserve her dignity.
If the entry was certainly agreed with the production, the story, in the intention of those who imagined it, should not have ended like this. We will not stay here to discuss whether the actor was really too insistent (it is to be believed, not by his sole will) or whether the girl, having received a “two in spades” from another competitor, she didn’t throw herself into his arms and then retreat, making him appear visionary.
Certainly the moralistic tirade of the father who, rightly or wrongly, forced his twenty-six-year-old daughter to leave the program, sparked controversy: who saw you a return to the father-master railed against the father. However, those who defended him accused the actor of stalking. We don’t care who is right.
Let’s observeOnce again, that the application of politically correct schemes to protect women is now almost automatic. And if it is often a good thing, sometimes it falls like a veil of respectability, risking making indistinguishable those cases in which our reaction should go beyond the easy verbal complaint.
