Biden calls Erdogan on Thursday about war in Ukraine

US President Joe Biden will call Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday. The White House reports that the two heads of government will discuss the war in Ukraine.

Erdogan tries to mediate in the conflict between Kiev and Moscow. A meeting between Ukrainian foreign minister Dmitro Kuleba and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov is also scheduled for Thursday in Turkey.
