“We see that there are more and more cargo bikes,” explains a spokesperson for the municipality. “Not all of them can be placed in the bicycle shed, because you can’t go to a higher floor of the parking facility with a cargo bike. That is why we make room for cargo bikes next to the storage, on the square.”
Exclusive for cargo bikes
Next week, on Tuesday 22 July, the work will start on Kennemerplein. There may be no bicycles on the square, because lines are applied to the ground. Signs on the north side of the station make the train travelers aware of the work. The new layout of the square is ready on 31 July.
