The currently seventh-placed player is also within striking distance with 413 points, but will no longer contest a race: Alexander Loginov is Russian and came with his withdrawal in protest against the sanctions of the IBU association (Russian and Belarusian athletes should no longer be allowed to start under their flag and not more honored with their anthem) just before the exclusion.
The same applies to Anton Smolski from Belarus, who is currently in tenth place with 405 points, just ahead of Benedikt Doll (361). Also affected are the World Cup 13. Eduard Latypov (348) and from the top 30 Said Karimulla Khalili (23rd/222nd) and Daniil Serokhvostov (30th/199th), all from Russia.
