Baserga opens for Switzerland
The Swiss women are blatant outsiders on today’s relay day. In the individual competition, the team struggled at the start and only Elisa Gasparin made it into the top 15. Amy Baserga will open the relay. The two Gasparin sisters will then follow her before Lena Häcki-Groß will graduate.

Swedes biggest competition
On paper, the Swedes seem to be the strongest competition. The Scandinavians got the best team result in singles yesterday and had the winner Hanna Öberg in their ranks. In addition, France should also calculate something. The Norwegians, on the other hand, currently have no team available due to the loss of two of their best athletes, which can compete for victory.

German athletes with chances
The German team may have to do without the established anchor Franziska Preuss, but today they are by no means without a chance when it comes to the top positions. Anna Weidel is supposed to open the race, she hands over to Sophia Schneider, who took a strong eleventh place yesterday. Vanessa Voigt, fourth in the singles, is in third position. Denise Hermann-Wick, who was sixth in the individual, has to be the final runner.

First season of the year
After the women went through the course in Kontiolahti yesterday in singles, today there is a relay competition. It is run four times six kilometers. Each athlete shoots once prone and once standing. A maximum of three reloading cartridges are available so that you can still hit targets that are not hit the first time. If you don’t succeed, you go into the penalty loop.
Warm welcome
