Most successful participant in Beijing
Bö was the most successful participant at the 24th Olympic Winter Games in Beijing. The 28-year-old collected four gold and one bronze in six competitions at the Zhangjiakou Biathlon Centre.
Bö is in fifth place in the overall World Cup. Frenchman Quentin Fillon Maillet, who also won five Olympic medals (two gold, three silver) in Beijing, leads the rankings.
Until March 20th there are still three World Cup stations in Kontiolahti/Finland, Otepää/Estonia and Oslo/Norway on the program.
