Thursday, December 8, 2022, I will be hospitalized for preventive removal of breast tissue. And now that I can no longer draw back, selfishly, I turn to you. To be told how brave I am, that I’m doing the right thing, that I inspire you. Because I’ve lost the feeling that brought me here; I lost myself in self-pity.’
Mom has surgery because she loves life too much
Bianca Balti has two daughters: Matilde and Mia. With them she had to share her choice of hers. «A while ago a woman, writing to me about her experience with the BRCA gene, reminded me how lucky we were to have the opportunity to know and be able to protect ourselves.
