The BFC Dynamo has won the championship in the Regionalliga Nordost and is playing for promotion to the 3rd league. On the 38th match day, Dynamo coach Christian Benbennek’s team secured first place in the 20s league with a 4:2 (2:1) win at VSG Altglienicke. The Berliners also benefited from the simultaneous 0:1 (0:1) defeat of Carl Zeiss Jena at Union Fürstenwalde. The second in the table could have drawn level on points with a win and a simultaneous Dynamo defeat. However, the goal difference of plus 13 goals spoke for the BFC anyway.
