“Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” give a first taste of their record ACT II.
Beyoncé surprisingly announced the upcoming release of a new studio record during a commercial break during Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, February 11th. ACT II comes out March 29th. So that her fans don’t have to wait so long, the musician is releasing two singles in advance – “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” are already available to stream.
Both titles are already trending
Recently there had been rumors that Beyoncé could be the next superstar to play at the Sphere in Las Vegas, which is why an announcement of this in the city where the NFL finals were now being held would have been very appropriate. But a new LP is of course also a reason for fans to be happy.

Both of their newly released tracks are already at number 22 and 24 in Germany eleven hours after the announcement YouTube trends to find. While “Texas Hold ‘Em” is currently in the higher place, “16 Carriages” seems to be a little better received if you take the number of likes into account.

Is ACT II the actual title?
ACT II will follow on from their album RENAISSANCE, which already suggested a sequel when it was announced at the time. In 2022, Beyoncé initially announced the record as ACT I: RENAISSANCE – a title that aroused hope among fans at the time. It also suggests that ACT II may not be the final name of their upcoming work.
