The singer continues her RENAISSANCE series. The new record already has a date.
Beyoncé surprisingly announced the imminent release of a new studio record on Sunday (February 11th). ACT II will be released on March 29th.
A video was shown during a commercial break during Super Bowl LVIII, which was also uploaded to Instagram at the same time and has since gone viral online.
There had recently been rumors that Beyoncé could be the next superstar to play at the Sphere in Las Vegas, which is why an announcement of this in the player city, where the NFL final was now being held, would have been very appropriate.
But a new LP is of course also a reason to be happy. A new song was only released in December. RENAISSANCE was Beyoncé’s seventh studio album, but was initially announced in 2022 as ACT I: RENAISSANCE. A clear indication that sequels are planned.
There was also a concert film accompanying the record, which was shown in cinemas worldwide and was a huge success.
