Pop star Beyonce and a rapper Jay-Z have bought a new home in Malibu, says TMZ.
However, it is not just any family home. The couple paid 200 million dollars, or about 185 million euros, for their 2,800-square-meter apartment. This makes the property the most expensive ever in the state of California.

According to TMZ, the musician couple had even managed to haggle in house sales. The original sale price had been 295 million dollars, or about 270 million euros.
The title of the most valuable real estate transaction in the United States is held by an apartment in New York City, which was once sold for 238 million dollars.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s new house stands on a three-hectare plot by the sea. The area is also playfully called Miljardöörikatu.
TMZ describes the house as an “architectural masterpiece”. The concrete creation was designed by a Japanese architect Tadao Ando. The person who built it used to live in the house William Bell. It took almost 15 years to build the house.
The yard of the simple building has a large swimming pool and a grassy area.
