The building that houses the Karlsruhe branch of the Düsseldorf clothing retailer Peek & Cloppenburg KG will soon have to be demolished. The company announced on Friday that it intends to remain present in the Baden metropolis with an interim solution until the planned new building is expected to be ready for occupancy in 2026. The last day of sale in the previous store is therefore October 15th.

“Karlsruhe is an important location for us,” explained Karen Feldpausch-Sturm, Director Sales Management at Peek & Cloppenburg KG, Düsseldorf, in a statement. “We have been there for our customers in Karlsruhe for almost 50 years and are now investing in the future of the city centre. We look forward to being able to welcome our customers in a modern new building with an attractive sales area from 2026. Since we do not want the people of Karlsruhe to have to do without our offer by then, we will open an interim location as early as March 2023, where you will receive the selection, quality and advice you are used to from our permanent staff.”
