Traditionally, at Carnival, Betty comes with an anti-hangover recipe. After the croquette lasagna and the frikandellen cake, Betty now comes with the anti-hangover waffle, especially for all cheese soufflé lovers.
Ingredients (for one waffle):
- 6 slices puff pastry
- 4 cheese souffles
- 8 hot dogs/large sausages
- Curry
- Onion
Preparation method:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Take four sheets of puff pastry and place them in the shape of a square with a little overlap. Roll it out a bit so that it becomes one whole.
Place a few lightly fried cheese soufflés on the puff pastry. Then take two more pieces of puff pastry and roll them together and again a little. Cut it lengthwise into 8 pieces. Arrange the cut pieces as follows, with an overlap of 2 centimeters.
Take a sausage and place it on the overlapped part. Fold the strips in the direction of the sausage. Drive ready? Take the next sausage and place it next to it and repeat folding alternately. Cut off the remaining pieces of puff pastry and push the ends into the dough. Brush the whole thing with a beaten egg. Bake your hangover anti-hangover waffle until golden brown (about 10 minutes).
