Rosario visual artist Betiana Bradas has surprised the world of art and football with her new series of sculptures that pay tribute to Lionel Messi, the Argentine star who has made history at the NOB in Rosario and at Inter in Miami. The works are exhibited within the framework of the friendly match that will face both teams on February 15, in an event that transcends the borders of sport.
Betiana Bradas is an artist characterized by her versatility, creativity and innovation. Her works range from painting, sculpture, collage, video, photography and installation, to live performance. Her style is unique and personal, it reflects her vision of the world, her emotions, her experiences and her dreams.
In his new series of sculptures, Bradas wanted to capture the essence of the unique football connection that exists between NOB de Rosario and Inter Miami, the two teams that represent crucial chapters in Messi’s story. The NOB of Rosario, where he began his legacy, epicenter of his first dreams and achievements. Inter Miami, Messi’s current team, is the stage where his football magic is manifested today.
The first sculpture, “El Origen”, is immersed in the emblematic colors of the NOB of Rosario, paying tribute to the place where Messi forged his first ties with football. It is an expression of the beginnings that gave shape to a sports giant.
The second, called “El Triunfo”, reflects the vibrant colors of Inter Miami, symbolizing Messi’s current achievements in this team that has received our beloved Leo with honors.
Both sculptures are united by a golden sphere in their center, symbolizing Messi’s numerous achievements throughout his career, including the Ballon d’Or and his fundamental role in the Argentine team that won the last World Cup, leaving a mark indelible in the history of world football.
These sculptures transcend shapes and colors; They are tributes to the indestructible bonds forged on the field of play. They represent the brotherhood that unites players, fans and entire communities. Messi’s story is interwoven with the history of these clubs, creating a legacy that transcends time and space. It is a symbol of shared triumphs, of unity and of the greatness achieved by Messi together with his teams.
Finally, “Grand Entrance,” a third sculpture in resplendent gold, captures the triumphant entrance that only Messi can have. It is a tribute to Argentine pride embodied in his outstanding football career and the excitement that only this sport can offer.
These sculptures symbolize the passion, sacrifice and greatness that define Messi’s career and his impact on the world of football, a symbol of unity that transcends borders. This is a tribute to one of the greatest footballers of all time, our GREAT LEO.
