Borussia Dortmund sets the course for the future. As BVB officially announced on Tuesday, the contract with the marketer Sportfive has been extended in the long term.
Borussia not only makes important future decisions on the transfer market – the Revierklub is also preparing for the coming years away from the green turf.
According to BVB, the cooperation with the marketer Sportfive will continue until June 30, 2031. In addition to the previous tasks, the sports marketing agency will also take on the marketing mandates in women’s football and eSports in the future.
“Due to the successful, partnership-based cooperation, we have decided to extend the cooperation with Sportfive ahead of time and are convinced that we have found the best solution for Borussia Dortmund in view of the coming sales challenges,” said BVB boss Hans-Joachim Watzke quoted in a statement from the club.
BVB looks to the USA
BVB wants to continue to focus more on the USA. “Sportfive is already represented at several locations in the USA. Sportfive’s global sales structures and many years of expertise will help us to further advance our internationalization issues,” says BVB Managing Director Carsten Cramer in the statement.
