Aruba re-established itself in the global tourism conversation after the publication of Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice® Best of the Best 2026 awards, the highest recognition given by the platform and which distinguishes the top 1% of evaluated destinations around the world. In this edition, Eagle Beach was consecrated as the best beach in the Caribbean and the fourth best on the planet, confirming the specific weight of the island on the international map of sun and sea tourism.

The world ranking is headed by Praia da Falésia, in the Portuguese Algarve. It is an extensive strip of golden sand backed by imposing reddish cliffs that stretch for several kilometers. Its combination of dramatic landscape, quality services and sunsets over the Atlantic make it a classic postcard of Western Europe, with consolidated infrastructure and well-kept accesses.

In second place is Spiaggia dei Conigli, on the Italian island of Lampedusa. Considered for years one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean, it stands out for its crystal-clear waters and its practically virgin environment. It is also a natural sanctuary for the nesting of Caretta caretta turtles, which reinforces its ecological profile and its appeal among travelers seeking intact nature.

Third place is occupied by La Concha, in San Sebastián, Spain. Located in the heart of the city, it combines urban elegance with maritime landscape, something rare in the global ranking. Its shell-shaped bay, protected by Mount Urgull and Santa Clara Island, offers relatively calm waters and a sophisticated environment that combines top-class cuisine and stately architecture.

In fourth place is Eagle Beach, in Aruba. Its distinctive feature is its spaciousness: fine-grained white sand, less density of front-line constructions and a clear horizon that conveys a feeling of exclusivity. The iconic divi-divi—trees bent by the wind—became a symbol of the destination, while the transparency of the water and year-round climate stability reinforce its appeal.

Closing the top five is Grace Bay, in the Turks and Caicos Islands. It is a beach associated with Caribbean luxury, with high-end resorts and a nearby barrier reef that protects the coast and keeps the waters serene. Its clear sand and electric blue sea consolidate a premium rest experience, highly valued by international tourism with high purchasing power.

The recognition is based exclusively on reviews and ratings published by travelers between October 2024 and September 2025, making the ranking a direct indicator of real perception and lived experience. There is no jury or editorial selection: it is the visitors themselves who determine the order.

In that context, the fact that Aruba places Eagle Beach in fourth place in the world and Palm Beach among the best in the Caribbean is not only an aesthetic distinction. It is a validation of the country brand and a competitive advantage in a global market where digital reputation defines the choice of the next destination. The aspirational map for summer 2026 has already been drawn, and the Caribbean – with Aruba as the protagonist – once again occupies a central place.
