The excitement of the 5th round of Ziraat Turkish Cup came to an end. In the last match of the 5th round, Beşiktaş and Altay faced each other.

Hosting Altay in the 5th round of the Ziraat Turkish Cup, Beşiktaş took part in the field with 4 different names according to the match it played with İttifak Holding Konyaspor in Spor Toto Super League.
Önder Karaveli, the technical manager of the black-and-white team, played Rıdvan Yılmaz, Miralem Pjanic and Cyle Larin in the first 11 match of the İttifak Holding Konyaspor match against Altay.
Domagoj Vida, who was in the camp squad, was not included in the Altay match squad.
Valentin Rosier, who could not play in the match of İttifak Holding Konyaspor due to a red card penalty in Beşiktaş, had a chance in the first 11 instead of Rıdvan Yılmaz in the Altay match.
In the absence of Vida, Karaveli appointed Serdar Saatçı in the center of the defense, and gave the jersey to Güven Yalçın on the left wing.

The fans did not show any interest in the match between Beşiktaş, the champion of the last cup, against Altay.
While most of the stands were empty, nearly five thousand fans watched the match.
