Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Arbitration Board announced that the fine of 400 thousand liras given to Beşiktaş Club President Ahmet Nur Çebi was reduced to 200 thousand liras.
TFF made the following statement regarding the issue:
“The objection to PFDK’s decision dated 07.09.2023 and numbered E.2023-2024/73 – K.2023-2024/84 regarding Beşiktaş A.Ş. and its President Ahmet Nur Çebi was examined. As a result of the negotiation, Beşiktaş A.Ş. and In accordance with Articles 36/1-d, 38/3 and 10/2 of the FDT due to the statements made by President Ahmet Nur Çebi regarding Unsportsmanlike Acts and Referees and Other Competition Officials in the statements published on the Club’s official website on 29.08.2023. In the objection review of the separate fines of 400,000.00 TL;
Partial acceptance of the objection and removal of the PFDK decision,
Due to the statements about the Referee and Other Competition Officials, Article 38/3 of the FDT. By majority vote, no violation has been found in accordance with the article,
Beşiktaş A.Ş. and President Ahmet Nur Çebi were punished separately with a fine of 400,000.00 TL in accordance with Article 36/1-d of the FDT, due to the Unsportsmanlike Act in the statements published on the Club’s official website on 29.08.2023, and Article 13 of the FDT. “It has been unanimously decided that they will be punished separately with a fine of 200,000.00 TL, with a reduction of ½ of their penalties in accordance with the article.”
