Beşiktaş Men’s Basketball Team transferred US quarterback Jonah Mathews.
According to the statement made by the black-and-white club, the US playmaker Mathews, who played in France’s ASVEL team, joined the squad as part of the transfer work before the 2023-2024 season.
In the 2022-2023 season, Mathews averaged 9.5 points, 1.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 40 league games for the ASVEL team. The 25-year-old player, who played 31 matches in the THY Europa League, struggled with averages of 10.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
