Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş clubs united to help the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquake region, which is described as “the disaster of the century”.
Clubs called the “Big Three” sent 3 aid trucks with their logos to the earthquake zone as an indicator of the unity and solidarity needed in these difficult days.
In the joint statement made by the three clubs on the subject, the following statements were included:
“We wish God’s mercy on our citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake disaster that took place in Kahramanmaraş on February 6 and affected our whole country, and we express our condolences to our nation. We have tried to be with our citizens who were affected by the earthquake since the first day of this disaster that stifled our country. To do our part whenever needed, We will continue to stand by them. In these difficult days, we all need to bandage our wounds in unity and embrace each other. Today, we set off 3 aid trucks with the logos of our clubs together from our aid centers to the disaster area, in order to be an indicator of this unity. We hope that this journey, which shows that we are in solidarity, with our citizens and at the disposal of our country, will bring healing to our citizens in the disaster area and will be a milestone for unity and solidarity for Turkish football.”
