Beşiktaş came to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, for the friendly match to be played with the Azerbaijan representative Sabah FK.
Black and white players, who landed at Haydar Aliyev Airport on a special flight of Turkish Airlines, were greeted with strict security measures. Beşiktaş Coach Şenol Güneş and the players were greeted with enthusiastic cheers from the fans at the exit of the airport.
The match, which will be held tomorrow at Tofig Behramov Stadium in the capital Baku, will start at 17.00 CEST.
TICKETS ARE NEARLY SOLD OUT
The fact that Beşiktaş will play in Azerbaijan tomorrow was greeted with great enthusiasm in the country. Almost all of the tickets, which were put up for sale for the 32 thousand-seat Tofig Behramov Stadium and whose income will be donated to those affected by the earthquake, were sold out days before the match.
