Berlin’s Greens are not fit to govern

After the left, the Greens are now also mobbing against the still mayor Franziska Giffey – from the still coalition partner SPD. A comment from BZ editor Andreas Vollbrechtshausen.

Yes, are the Greens deserted by all good spirits? Calling Franziska Giffey a bogeyman – just because she no longer wants to coalition with them – sounds like offended liverwurst.

Giffey has now simply opted for the CDU as a coalition partner. You don’t want to blame her. The tug-of-war over Friedrichstrasse alone has shown that the Greens tend to be obstructive rather than visionary.

After all, simply blocking a stretch of road for cars does not constitute a turnaround in traffic. And with much more Bettina Jarasch did not attract attention.

Instead of getting snotty, the Greens should finally understand that with their clientele politics they are not capable of forming a coalition and therefore not capable of governing in the long term.
