Since February 1, 2022, Daniel Manzke has been the new co-founder and CTO at the Berlin end-to-end solution provider Yoona.ai. In this role, his job is to connect the product and the technology to the companies using it and to create an architecture that supports the further development of the B2B SaaS platform.
Manzke has extensive experience in product management, the development of scalable platforms and the establishment of entire organizations from various management positions. Before working as CTO at the Berlin startup The Female Company, he held the same position at the restaurant platform Delivery Hero, which he successfully established and expanded.
“I’m so happy that Daniel is now my co-founder and CTO,” explains Anna-Franziska Michel, CEO and founder of Yoona.ai. “I have an almost symbiotic understanding with Daniel; he is the piece of the puzzle that was still missing. Through his work on our Advisory Board, he has known Yoona.ai from the beginning – and his know-how is now exactly what we need to continue to grow as a company and to ignite the next level for our product”.
Yoona.ai is the world’s first end-to-end solution that uses data-based design to help companies save up to 80 percent of the time in the design and collection development phase and design closer to trends and customers, reducing costs accordingly and to avoid throwaway products or overproduction.
The platform accompanies companies from the idea to production and lets users create their design, convert it into 3D images and project it with augmented reality. To do this, the design software uses the latest technologies such as neural networks, automated 3D generation and augmented reality. Fashion companies such as Gerry Weber, the Oberalp Group, Vaude and Fraas are already using the technology.
Founded in 2020, the company firmly believes that protecting the environment and life on earth is everyone’s responsibility. The digitization of the fashion industry is an important part of this “to send it on a better, a ‘greener’ path and to finally close the gap between the economic and sustainable goals of this industry,” says the company, which is the solution for this value chain want to deliver.
