This is what the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin will be called from March.
Berlin’s largest concert hall is about to be renamed. Anyone who will soon go to a Depeche Mode or Madonna concert there will no longer say: “I’m going to the Mercedes-Benz Arena”, but rather to the “Uber Arena”.
The time has already come on March 22nd, as can be read in a press release. The Mercedes-Benz Arena becomes the “Uber Arena” and the Verti Music Hall becomes the “Uber Eats Music Hall”. No longer located at “Mercedes Benz Platz” in Friedrichshain, but at “Uber Platz”. Names that take some getting used to, right? Especially when you’re about to say, “I’m seeing Jack White at Uber Eats Music Hall tonight.”
Uber offers ordering options during the events
Uber says it wants to offer “an improved and unique event experience” with “optimized arrival and departure”. We can’t be specific yet – but mobility is part of the transport company’s offering. There will also be “food provision” and “innovative ordering options” – during the events. Possibly means big munching at rock concerts, and food delivery people walking through the rows. In any case, perhaps a new type of “event culture”.
