Berlin label Namilia collaborates with Kylie Jenner

Reality TV star Kylie Jenner just gave a first glimpse of her new fashion line ‘Khy’, now it is clear that she is collaborating with the Berlin brand Namilia for the first release.

‘Khy’ posted a picture on social media platform Instagram on Wednesday of various black faux leather pieces – from a long coat to a skimpy dress – hanging on a clothes rail. The post is titled with the words “KHY. creativity, collaboration, and quality at an accessible price.”

Below it is explained that Jenner’s brand’s debut collection was created in collaboration with Namilia and will be available from November 1st in its own online shop khy.com. The pieces should cost between 48 and 198 US dollars (i.e. between 45 and 188 euros), the brand responded to a user’s question in the comments of the post. The black faux leather coat that Jenner was seen wearing in the picture announcing the project is said to cost $198.

While opinions about the new brand vary in Khy’s contributions – from highly praising to demeaning – the Berlin label Namilia is feeling a real wave of ‘hate’, which is characterized by disappointment and anger. The user ‘Angie_Capezza’, among others, wrote: “This is such a disappointment. As a brand that claims to be an ally of the underground scene, don’t you think there are thousands of other artists who would have been better suited for a collaboration than them? Yuck.”

However, the brand, which was founded in 2015 by Nan Li and Emilia Pfohl and focuses on feminist, sex-positive and hedonistic designs, does not hide the fact that celebrities such as Rihanna, Cardi B, Christina Aguilera and Paris Hilton are among its fans, at least that is the case the description on your own website.
