And suddenly summer is here. Sunday gave us a foretaste of a hot summer. The thermometer showed 27 degrees. At night the temperatures dropped to a fresh 15 degrees.
Even if the sun mostly hid behind the clouds, the cafés, sunbathing areas and swimming pools were very well attended. On the water or on land – sun-seekers were in a good mood everywhere. The constantly refreshing gusts of wind provided refreshment.

While it was still partly cloudy in Berlin on Sunday, there will be a lot of sunshine on Monday. On Tuesday clouds and sun will play hide and seek again. Rain showers are to be expected on Tuesday. During the day it gets cooler again: the maximum values drop from 27 degrees to 20 degrees on Tuesday. A gusty freshening wind is blowing.

Watch out for high-spirited jumps in Berlin’s lakes: the water in Berlin’s Wannsee is only 16 degrees cold. The lakes in Brandenburg are even colder.
Due to the low rainfall in the past few days, the second highest level of forest fire danger applies.
