Anyone who saves the breakdown airport BER can also build a Hertha stadium!

As the capital club announced, Engelbert Lütke Daldrup (65) Help Hertha with the construction of the new stadium.

Finance boss Ingo Schiller (56): “We managed to win Prof. Dr. To be able to win Engelbert Lütke Daldrup in an advisory capacity for our project. We are very happy about that.”

Urban planner Lütke Daldrup worked from 2006 to 2009 as State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for Transport, Building and Urban Development. In 2017 he took over as Berlin airport boss and opened the Pannen-Airport BER in 2020 after years of delays in the construction period and many defects.

Now Lütke Daldrup should make Hertha’s big dream of owning an arena come true.

Schiller himself, who had pushed and supported the construction of the new stadium for years, is leaving Hertha on October 31.
