Defending champion SG BBM Bietigheim meets HSG Bensheim/Auerbach in the final of the German Women’s Handball Cup.
At the Final Four in Stuttgart, top favorite Bietigheim effortlessly beat TuS Metzingen 39:29 (21:14). Bensheim followed with a 31:26 (16:12) against last year’s finalist VfL Oldenburg.
For the Bietigheimers, who won the championship, the Supercup and the European League last year in addition to the cup, it would be the third triumph after 2021 and 2022.
Bensheim is in the final for the third time, which also takes place in Stuttgart on Sunday (5:05 p.m. / Sport1).
