Liverpool, one of the English Premier League teams, signed 22-year-old Darwin Nunez, who played for Benfica.
According to the statement made by the Portuguese representative, Liverpool will pay 100 million euros for this transfer, including 75 million euros for a transfer fee and 25 million euros for bonuses.
Darwin Nunez, who started his career at Penarol, transferred to Benfica in 2020 for 24 million euros. The young forward scored 34 goals in 41 matches last season.
