Diego, how did the idea of founding Benefit Salud come about?
He was born during the pandemic. At that moment we became aware that we were alone in the challenge of staying healthy and strong, that only we could take care of ourselves. Although we had good social work, there was no plan to help us stay healthy, and we thought of a system that deals with our health in a preventive, proactive and personalized way, as long as we don’t get sick.
What were they looking for with the creation of the company?
We seek to provide a service that provides people with everything they need to maintain their health. We want to meet the needs of a modern society that, today more than ever, is committed to its well-being. The challenge is enormous, since each person has different ways of taking care of themselves, from sports, yoga, food, a psychologist, or cosmetic dentistry treatment and even a good read, are ways in which people deal with their health. well-being, but they all have a common denominator: doing something that does you good, that makes you happy, that’s why we decided to do Benefit.
How does Benefit work?
In a 100% digital way, through the web or the App developed by our partners Héctor Huergo and Alfredo Muro (owners of Zymo Tech SA). We are looking for a friendly, simple and agile system, so that it is accessible to more people. We offer so many options because looking good, eating healthy, having fun, relaxing, exercising, laughing, traveling, are just as important to your health as going to a doctor’s office. All the options are found in our catalogue, with a good search engine and filtering by category; You only have to choose the benefit, a QR is generated, you show it to the provider and that’s it!
Would it work as a supplemental plan, but more extensive?
Yes, but with a simpler and more dynamic structure. Although we offer dentistry, medicine, additional discounts in pharmacies and many similar services, our differential is to attend to other issues that are no less important for personal well-being such as training, yoga classes, gyms, aesthetics, entertainment, food, and much more.
