It had been known for a long time that Alice Phoebe Lou would go on tour in the spring. Four concerts were planned in Cologne, Hanover, Hamburg and Munich. Now the musician has announced another date: she will play a benefit concert in aid of the SOS Children’s Villages and the aid organization “Leave No One Behind” in Berlin, presented by ROLLING STONE.
“Leave No One Behind” is committed to everything for refugees. It supports grassroots organizations working in the Moria camp on Lesvos, has helped with the evacuation of people at risk in Afghanistan with its “Kabul Airlift” project, and networks organisations, coordinates aid and forwards donations to organizations that work directly on site in Ukraine. For “Leave No One Behind” can here be donated.
SOS Children’s Villages is an independent social organization active in 137 countries. The donations flow into their more than 550 children’s villages and more than 2,500 other facilities such as kindergartens, schools, youth facilities, educational and social centers, health clinics, emergency aid projects and family aid. Alice Phoebe Lou had already collected donations for the organization with a concert last year. For SOS Children’s Villages here be donated.
Alice Phoebe Lou is originally from Cape Town and now lives in Berlin, where she was discovered as a street musician. In the last year she has released two albums. Her third studio album “Glow” was released in March, followed in December by the surprise album “God’s Play”, which she announced on social media just a few hours before the release. Alice Phoebe Lou deliberately releases all of her albums without a record label behind her.
