The actress was invited to very true from Silvia Toffanin to talk – together with Vittoria Belvedere and Gabriella Germani – of their new theater show, Women in danger. But on the occasion of this interview, Boccoli Benedicta updated the presenter on her health.

The power of prevention
The actress dedicated some important words to the topic of prevention. «I’m doing a lot of promotional campaign on this issue because it was really very small, they were micro calcifications. I had surgery in July. Now I’m in radiotherapy.”
It’s still: “I’m not doing chemotherapy – I have all my hair. I consider myself very lucky in the problem given what could have happened to me. If I had found out six months later I would now be here bald.”
“Don’t be afraid to go for a mammogram”
He then explained, talking about his daily life. «In the morning I go to do my treatments, in the afternoon I work with these two crazy people and I have fun. I ‘m very good».
Benedicta Boccoli concluded. «I mean, really… Don’t be afraid to go for a mammogram, an ultrasound, to find out something. Because today one out of 7 women has cancer. Go and control yourself, and do not be afraid. This thing is very important».
