Jennifer Lopez’s mother has given her blessing to her daughter’s relationship with Ben Affleck.
Jennifer Lopez, 52, and Ben Affleck, 49, got married on July 16 in Las Vegas quietly. At the same time, Lopez changed his official surname to Affleck.
Now Lopez’s mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, has revealed that Affleck is the love of her daughter’s life.
Presenter Sunny Hostin told The View that he had a conversation with Rodríguez about Lopez and Affleck’s relationship.
– Lupe has always said that Ben is the love of her (Lopez’s) life, the presenter said.
The marriage of Lopez and Affleck came to light when the US media got hold of the marriage certificate of the newly married couple.
It is believed that the couple will celebrate their wedding on an even bigger scale. According to Page Six, it’s a two- or three-day party that will take place on Affleck’s 35-acre estate in Georgia.
The couple got engaged in April when Affleck proposed to Lopez with a ring worth around $10 million.
Lopez and Affleck first dated back in 2002 and got engaged the following year. In 2004, however, the couple broke up just moments before the wedding.
