The British clothing supplier Belstaff International Limited was able to significantly increase its sales in the 2022 financial year. However, the loss was also significantly higher than in the previous year. This emerges from the latest annual report, which was published in the British commercial register on Saturday.
The traditional company, which has been part of the British conglomerate Ineos since 2017, achieved sales of 59.8 million British pounds (69.5 million euros) in 2022. This corresponded to an increase of 18.9 percent compared to the previous year.
The loss before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), adjusted for one-off factors and currency effects, fell from 11.4 to 5.8 million British pounds. However, the reported net loss, which was 16.6 million British pounds in 2021, rose to 28.9 million British pounds (33.6 million euros).
