Belstaff has a new CEO.
The British clothing provider appointed Kerry Byrne into the role of the managing director, said Belstaff last week at the LinkedIn career network. According to the article, the designated CEO has been its new role since April. In her new function, Kerry will continue to lead the company on its way to sustainable profitability, says Belstaff.
With Byrne, the company relies on promotion from its own ranks. She came to Belstaff in 2021, at that time as Head of Merchandising, before climbing the Trading Director in October 2021 and almost a year and a half later to the Commercial Director. Last summer she was finally called into the role of the COO, which she held to CEO until her current promotion. Before her time at Belstaff, she was in various management positions at the British fashion brand Cath Kidston and at the British clothing group Arcadia Group Ltd. employed.
As a new CEO, Byrne steps into Fran Millar’s footsteps. Millar, who held the position of the CEO at the Belstaff-Muttergesellschaft Ineos Grenadier and the clothing company itself, left Belstaff last September. She took on the role of CEO on the Rapha cycling brand.
