P.ierluigi Diaco come back upstairs Rai 2 with a new program: BellaMa ‘“the first word talent of Italian TV»- announces the press release – at the debut today at 15.15. On air from Monday to Friday from the Dear – Fabrizio Frizzi studios, it aims to to compare two generations at the antipodes. On the one hand, i boomer, i.e. adults between the ages of 55 and 90. On the other hand, i young between 18 and 25 years, namely the generation Z. In all, 20 competitors and 30 opinion leaders.

The two groups will clash on general knowledge questions and on the reciprocal familiar with social networks. And who knows that the two generations will not turn out to be less distant than they may seem on paper. Each episode consists of 3 heats: a general culture quiz, the creation of a Reel and the making of a video. The first test, that is the quiz, is based on three questions: the identity of a famous person, a historical fact and a word of the Italian language.
In the second heat the boomer competitor and the young one will compete in the making a Reelthat is, a short video for social media, with which they will present the guest of the day. Finally, each of them will have to pack a video introducing the topic under discussion in the studio. The first episode will focus on a topic that is as important as it is transversal: what is school for? The goal is to explore the topic of the day and, to do so, BellaMa ‘ he will make use of a personal story or the help of an expert.
To decide the best competitor of the day will be the public, through the social channels of Rai 2. The winner of the season will be announced on May 4th. To complete the cast of the program, a band made up of very young boys, in turn protagonists of a docu-reality that will be included within the format. They will begin playing to coincide with the debut of BellaMa ‘ and their excursus will be followed by cameras throughout the season.

The program, whose title was chosen by high school students through a survey, comes into being after the phase of casting Waiting for BellaMa ‘ – broadcast from 15 August to 9 September – which saw the participation of 400 aspiring competitors. Skimming by the authors reduced the number to 20, equally divided between boomers and young people.
Of the Young they are part of: Alessio Lo Monaco, 22 year old passionate about poetry. He comes from Albano Laziale, works as a worker and has decided to leave the university to help the family. Antony Di Francesco24, is from Rome and creates content on TikTok and YouTube. Armando Perrone24, from Avellino, is a digital communication consultant and has founded innovative start-ups. Diego Pasquali22, from Latina, runs night clubs. Federica Russo20, from Asti, studies Biotechnology at the University of Viterbo.
Yet, Francesca Marchegiani23, from Fano, has carved out his social space by telling about his experience with diabetes. Maria Laura Marullo19, from Naples, is about to graduate in psychology, has a Twitch channel and is a songwriter. Matteo Terelle22, from Velletri, works as a driver for school canteens and is a roller hockey coach for children. Rosa Sorrentino19, from Gragnano, works as a model and was awarded the headband of Miss Princess of Europe. Stella Flammini19, from Rome, has just graduated and cultivates a passion for music.

In the group of boomers there are as many competitors, ready to tell their experience and to confront younger opponents. Angela Palmieri59, lives in Rome, has a 23-year-old son, is a catechist and helps student priests away from home in Rome. Cinzia Tabacco55, from Trieste, is a life coach and a mindfulness expert.
Elettra Valentini58, from Nettuno, has 4 children living between China and Spain, 5 grandchildren and runs a cooking blog. Enzo Saturni64, from Rome, is a film, theater and TV actor. Giampiero Coletti63, from Rome, is a retired company trainer. Lucia Silvestri56, from Rome, is a widow, has two children aged 24 and 26 and is an exhibition curator.
Maria Serena Anderlini67, from Turin, holds a PhD in California and is an expert in the arts of love. Marisa Blasi72, from Rome, is a former ground hostess at Fiumicino airport. Nadia La Bella 56, from Rome, has a 28-year-old son and works as a fashion blogger. In the end, Raffaella Ruzzini69, of Rome, sells advertising space.
