It is the readjustment of the Italian partisan song to the current conflict with Russia, dedicated by the popular Ukrainian folk singer Khrystyna Soloviy “To all the armed forces, to our heroes and to all those who are fighting for their land right now.”
Notes for the anger of a people
In the new version, which is entitled “Ukrainian wrath“, The harmonious song of Soloviy, accompanied by the guitar of Olexii Morosov, contrasts with the great anger of a people who, however, have never lost their dignity: «Nobody thought about it, nobody knew / What the Ukrainian wrath was / We will kill the accursed executioners without mercy / Those who are invading our land».
The viral video
To conclude then with the exaltation of the “real heroes” boys who fight “in our armed forces” and who “kill the Russians for Ukraine”. And with the applause of “our people, the Ukrainians” who “have already united the whole world against the Russians” and very soon “we will defeat them and there will be peace all over the Earth“.
The video immediately went viral. On Instagram it exceeded 540 thousand views while on YouTube, in just over 24 hours, it reached 82 thousand views.
The version of Bella Ciao by Carla Bruni
The famous Italian partisan song had already been used with reference to the Ukrainian conflict in recent days. 48 hours after the Russian invasion, the former première dame Carla Bruni had published her own personal cover on Instagram.
And in the following days the notes of “Bella ciao” they have never been lacking in the Italian anti-war processions.
